  • In high school, Michael discovered his love for interior design after decorating rooms throughout his house and knew he wanted to pursue a creative career path.

  • After getting his BFA from New England School of Design in Boston, he focused on hospitality design for five years.

  • He continued on to start a small residential interior design firm called Michael Moeller Design. They focus on creative services for interior design, project management, decorating, and events for restaurants, hotel chains and residential spaces.

  • Michael wants to capture the aesthetic of each client’s interior taste. He strives for each of his projects to be independent in their style and utilize unexpected elements to avoid predictability.

  • He strives for perfection and can be a bit of a control freak. He’ll always give you his opinion and he loves to take risks- it’s not about being safe or boring.

  • Michael finds it to be a bit of a challenge dealing with all types of clients, but always seems to get the job done by prioritizing their wants and needs. He doesn’t like to be micromanaged.

  • He was featured in Readers Digest and named one of eighteen designers to look out for by Boutique Design Magazine. He has worked with companies such as Ralph Lauren, Starwood, and Ritz Carlton. He’s also worked with celebrities like Billy Joel.

  • He is used to competing in the NYC rat race and can’t wait to show off his winning skills against the other accomplished designers.
